Karen Lorena Parker Internationally known Karen Lorena Parker has exhibited in Vancouver, New York and Dubai. Her work is also distributed by Canadian Art Prints. Inspired by the Group of Seven and their illustrative sense of design and composition, her nature-inspired work is luminescent and well planned. She finds beauty in the collective memory, the romantic places we have all been.
Her atmospheric paintings of west coast landscapes, contemporary florals or aviation capture the viewer emotionally. Her technical interest in painting is expressed in many subjects as she pursues the beauty of light as it refracts and reflects in organic natural patterns. A gestural expression of our romantic memories. Her contemporary work is graphic, expressive, with depth and range.
She teaches at Night of Artists.
Born in Chile, Karen Lorena Parker received her BFA in Calgary, and moved to beautiful British Columbia. She currently resides in Dubai, UAE.
She is represented in Vancouver, Dubai and New York.
