Copper Storm

Copper Storm:

Returning from a trip to Taiwan, inspired this series of crisp clean Canadian Skies. The beginning of my contemporary landscapes, layered in fragile, matte tempera. Following Copper Storm was: Prairie Storm, Gentle Skies, Copper Trees and Red Squamish Trees. These were the few done in this medium as I transition to layered gloss instead for further exploration of light through clouds and trees.

Stormy coastal drama combined with the peaceful windswept prairies. This gentle blue sky shows the beauty and depth of the prairie landscape. Subtle details on the horizon line include trees, farms and buildings. Giclee prints distributed internationally through CasaPublishing.com.
